The UConn Women’s Track and Field team is heading back to Boston, Mass., this time for this weekend’s ECAC Championships. Coming off a dominant performance in the New England Championships, the Huskies look to capture yet another first place finish as a team.

The team will be lead by senior Victoria Flowers, who has placed first in the last two meets in the weight throw. Currently ranked No.7 nationally, she will look to continue her dominance of the event.

Another event that will be key to the team’s success is the high jump, in which UConn has dominated of late.  The trio of seniors Jasmine Cribb, Ilva Bikanova and Junior Natasha McLaren has found much success in recent events.  In last weeks New England Championships, Cribb placed first, while Bikanova and McLaren tied for second.

The Distance Medley Relay team is also one to keep an eye on.  The team has not competed since their record-breaking performance at the Championships.  A contender for a national title, the team will look to improve on an already great season.
